Were it not for Bob Daisley, Randy Rhoades, and Lee Kerslake, he would have bombed in a drunken stupor.

They wrote and arranged those first two albums. Those two albums made his solo career, and if you believe Daisley, and I happen to, especially given what Sharon O did to them, Ozzy sang what was put in front of him. And that's about it.

So his solo career at least got started on the backs of much better musicians.
